Together with Daniel Merino Villavicencio, Kobe Brown, and Madeleine Bohn, I created my first short horror film. For me, as an indie creator transitioning into film, this collaboration marked a significant milestone and a major leap in my understanding of live-action storytelling.
The project represented my first direct collaboration with Daniel Merino Villavicencio, whose experience as a production assistant on Netflix series such as Kaleidoscope and Uncoupled brought valuable insight into professional production workflows. While the film was shot by the team, I handled the complete post-production process, including writing, editing, sound design, and color grading, shaping the final tone and pacing of the piece.
Working alongside Daniel, Kobe, and Madeleine was a huge step forward in my learning process. It challenged me to translate my cinematic instincts from game development into live-action form and deepened my understanding of how tension is built not only on set, but especially in post-production.
This first film collaboration confirmed my desire to continue developing live-action horror projects alongside my work in interactive media.
I am deeply grateful to everyone involved for their trust, support, and belief in my vision.
